Treatment Alternatives saved my life. I went to detox and inpatient treatment in NJ and decided that a change would be good. My case manager suggested Treatment Alternatives to me and I'm so glad i decided to follow her suggestion. I had never been to Florida before and was a littler nervous coming to a new place. The staff were very welcoming. They showed me where to go and what to do. Anytime the urge to use came back someone was always there to talk about it with. I have made some great friends, some of which I still speak with. I was given the resources I needed to get a job and start paying for myself. I learned how to become an adult because of treatment alternatives. I have my family back in my life and i couldn't be happier. If you are looking for a change and really want to give yourself a shot at long term recovery, treatment alternatives is the place to go.

I arrived here about 1 1/2 mos. ago in the late evening and was greeted by 2 employees of Treatment Alternatives at the airport. They were very professional and informative on what was to happen next. This made my initial contact a pleasant experience. I have been treated with respect the whole time I have been here by all the staff. Any facility you go to is going to have guidelines and rules to follow to assist you in your treatment. Follow the rules and your life is so much easier while in treatment. My experiences here at awakenings have been nothing shy of great. The entire staff treats me with courtesy and respect. It goes both ways,, not only here, but anywhere in life. The Treatment Alternatives gives you the Awakenings to a successful, sober and clean life style.

I can only speak about the treatment itself and not the living situation since I live locally. I will have 2 years since weekend and that's because of this place. I know a lot of the staff has changed in the last 2 years but they still have some great people there. Remember treatment is what you make it. They give you the tools you need but it's up to you to use them. If someone asked me where to go this is the first place I'm going to tell them about.

Some great People here, especially Carlo. How ever the company is terrible administratively. I was physically at the door trying to pay a bill. I rang the bell three times. At least 3 different people saw me.....and ignored me. I went upstairs and saw a familiar face, Will, another awesome person. He could not get anyone to pick up the phone. Well I Tried. The four stars is because of people Like Carlo, Will, Derek A and Mark G. They were a huge part of my early sobriety.

I've been here for 8 months and have absolutely loved it here. They have a wonderful program and really have helped me through my recovery process. Im still sober, have had a great experience here. Very nice staff! I am now a senior here and it's been amazing. Amy the director is the best :)

Treatment Alternatives came highly recommended by a close friend. As no one in my family had ever needed treatment before we were not sure who to trust. We sent our loved one to the they’re treatment center and the results were better than we could have dreamed!! The treatment staff and therapists were professional and caring. The facilities were clean and safe. Treatment Alternatives provided the time away that was necessary to change behaviors and heal. I saw a negative review and felt compelled to write this review as our experience was completely different from some of the ones I saw described here. The experience at the Boca house was very similar to Treatment, supportive and genuinely caring in respect to recovery!! I think you get out of treatment what you put into it and if you really want to recover this is a great place to go!!
